Pathaan film is an Indian Hindi action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra for YRF Spy Universe. The film is the fourth installment of the YRF Spy Universe. Pathaan was released in India on 25 January 2023 in Imax and 4DX and standard formats. The dubbed versions are in Tamil and Telugu languages.

Pathaan is the most awaited film since a long time and the film gets in trouble for its songs. The lead actors of the film are superstar Shah Rukh Khan and everyone’s favorite Deepika Padukone. The film started breaking records even before its release, with a total of 5.21 lakh tickets booked in advance booking and it broke the record of K.G.F Chapter 2 and became second only to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Pathaan Film Story :

The story of the film is full of patriotic formula. Article 370 has been revoked in Kashmir. Pakistan gets shocked by this decision. To teach him a lesson on this decision of India, he takes the support of a terrorist gang called ‘Outfit X’, whose leader Jim (John Abraham) used to be a brave and patriotic agent of RAW at one time. But in a mission his pregnant wife would be brutally killed in front of him. The country is sitting hand in hand and it is from here that the feeling of hatred and vengeance for the country becomes strong inside the gym. He, along with the enemies of the country, becomes determined to destroy his own country.

To deal with this dire situation, Indian Intelligence Force Chief Nandini (Dimple Kapadia) and the head of the force, Colonel Luthra (Ashutosh Rana) recruit their most capable agent Pathan and his team. On this mission to capture Jim and find out his intentions, Pathaan Film meets Rubai (Deepika Padukone), an ISI agent. If Jim’s aim is destruction, then Pathan’s only aim is to save his country, but Rubai proves to be such a thread between these two heroes and villains, who stand between the thin line of trust and betrayal.

The love story of two agents of India and Pakistan has been shown in the films of ‘Tiger’ series. Here Pathaan Film and Rubai also have a love angle. Will Rubai support Pathaan or betray him? John Abraham is playing the role of Jim in this film. The story of Jim, who once fought for his country, why he is against the country, has been told in the film.

Deepika Padukone has appeared in a saffron swim suit in Pathaan Film. However, the seat in the saffron bikini in which she romanced Shah Rukh Khan in the song ‘Besharam Rang’ has been cut.

Even though Deepika Padukone is not romancing Shahrukh Khan in orange bikini, but she can be seen in orange swim suit in Besharam Rang of the film.

Dimple Kapadia tells the story of why RAW doesn’t trust Pathan anymore. Where she takes the audience with her in the flashback. In the film, Dimple Kapadia is an army security officer with whom Pathan used to work.

In ‘Pathan’, King Khan makes his comeback truly meaningful. Be it SRK’s look, the demeanor through eyes and body language, the agility of the action sequences, his swag in romantic songs and the words ‘Ek Soldier Desh se nahi hota ki Desh ne usse liye kya kiya kiya, woh poochta hai, woh desh liye’ Dialogues like ‘Kya Kar Sakta Hai’ make the audience whistle and clap. Here Shahrukh is romantic according to his age.

The surprise element of the film is the mounting of John Abraham’s character as Jim. Such a strong and well-crafted villain is probably being seen for the first time in Bollywood films. He is not shown any less than the villain, John has also put his life into his character. The 20-minute entry of ‘Tiger’ ie Salman Khan takes the film to a different level. The presence of Salman has greatly benefited the film. Shah Rukh-Salman’s jugalbandi and action take the audience hand-in-hand.
